Biblioweb 2012
Městská knihovna Litvínov získala 1. místo v celostátní soutěži o nejlepší webové prezentace knihoven Biblioweb 2015 v kategorii přístupnosti pro těžce zrakově postižené, 2. místo v kategorii knihoven v obcích od 15 do 30 tisíc obyvatel a 3. místo v absolutním pořadí bez rozlišení kategorií knihoven.
City Library Litvinov was in the Mirror Chapel of Klementinum officially awarded the Ministry of Culture Library of the Year 2013 in the category of 'significant achievement in the provision of public library and information services' for modernization of space and creative approach to the development of community libraries.

The Adult department is barrier-free and it is situated on the ground floor of the building on the left side.

Every user has a possibility to buy a PC card for an attractive price. The card enables work on internet for 6 hours per 15 minutes for 150,- (i.e. 25,-/hour). Every initiated quarter-hour is considered as used. - Internet for the unemployed
Every Thursday morning the library enables a free Internet access for the unemployed. Every unemployed user of internet has to show the valid certificate from the employment office where there has to be the date of another visit in the office. He/she will have a free access to internet for 30 minutes, especially to websites relating to job seeking, for example www.prace.cz, www.jobs.cz. If the users then visit another site, they will be charged according to the price list for the use of computer technology.
